SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
Ottawa County is requesting proposals to provide a range of medical services and care in six broad Service Areas; In-Facility Care – Adult Correctional Facility, Out-Facility Care – Adult Correctional Facility, In-Facility Care – Juvenile Detention, Out-Facility Care – Juvenile Detention, Pharmaceuticals Services and Mental Health Services for Juvenile Detention only. In addition, we are requesting a proposal for administrative and program support services for the Corrections and Detention Facilities. The types of individual services necessary under the broader service areas have been outlined within the RFP. When submitting the proposal, the operational guidelines and practices should be addressed separately for each facility as well as each individual service area (i.e.; Preliminary Health Screening, Medication Administration, Emergency Services, etc.). All rules with Division of Child Welfare Licensing for juvenile facilities as well as American Correctional Association Standards for Juvenile Detention Centers must be adhered to. All full care providers should submit proposals which include narratives and proposed fees for all Service Areas (Total Care Package). In addition, full care bidders should include separate proposed fees for the provision of Mental Health Services for Juvenile Detention.
