SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:

The Central Purchasing Department of the City of Taylor is requesting a bid on behalf of the Department of Public Works for the following items: •3,600 tons of class II backfill sand (MDOT specifications), as needed, delivered in multiple orders throughout the course of a year •2,000 tons of ¾ clean limestone (MDOT specifications), as needed, delivered in multiple orders throughout the course of a year Certification of the materials specified may be required prior to award of contract. The winning bidder must be able to demonstrate how they meet the following requirements: •Vendor provides a weight ticket with each delivery •Vendor delivers purchases within 24 hours from receipt of Purchase Order •Vendor has a large enough Truck Fleet to meet order requirements •Vendor must have a location within a 15 mile radius of the City of Taylor in order to meet emergency orders
