SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:

The Central Purchasing Department of the City of Taylor is requesting a bid on behalf of the Heritage Park Petting Farm for the following items: 600 Bales of 2nd cutting Hay that meets the following specifications:  -2nd cutting  -Small, square bales, averaging 45 pounds per bale  -Alfalfa grass mix, approximately 30% alfalfa, and 70% orchard, brome, and/or timothy  -Average of 10-15% crude protein  -Total Digestive Nutrient Content (TDN) average of 50%  -High leaf to steam ratio  -Fine stemmed  -Adequately dried  -Free from mold and dust  -Low on weeds, course stems and seed heads  -Bright green color  -Sweet, fresh smell Delivery charges are to be included in the cost per bale and the total price.
