SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
The Charter Township of Washington Department of Public Works is requesting proposals for its Municipal Water Service Installation and System Repair Contract. If you are interested in submitting a bid, specifications will be available on the MITN website (Attachment B). If needed, a hard copy will be available in the Clerk’s office for a non-refundable fee of $25.00. Work to be performed consists of tapping various types of Township water mains, repairing water mains and relocating/repairing hydrants as required by the Township. The contractor will also be required to respond to emergency situations involving the municipal water system. The contract will be for a period of two (2) years with the option of (2) additional (1) year extensions.
