SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
The Disaster Recovery and Backup Solution RFP (project) is designed to minimize the downtime of services in the event of a disaster at the primary datacenter as well as protecting data and services from loss or corruption. The Project should allow the City of Birmingham to provide high availability of data and services to employees, citizens, and others having interest in the community. The Project will create a redundant recovery site capable of hosting the City’s mission critical data and services. The project has Disaster Recovery (DR) and Backup and Recover (BR) characteristics.
